Project - Horry-Georgetown Technical College

The main campus of Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) in Conway, SC, offers a unique and varied landscape for architectural photography. The campus blends modern and traditional architectural elements, providing an excellent study in contrasts. The sleek lines of contemporary buildings juxtapose the classic brick facades.

The use of natural light, especially during the golden hour, highlights the textures and materials that define the campus structures.

Lighting plays a crucial role in capturing the essence of the HGTC campus. The play of light and shadow across the facades, especially during early morning or late afternoon, enhances the textures and architectural details, offering dynamic compositions.

The project consisted of photographing the exteriors of several of the campus buidlings. This took place starting early morning.
