Project - University of South Carolina Columbia

The University of South Carolina’s Columbia campus is a striking blend of historic charm and contemporary innovation, with its modern additions showcasing bold architectural statements. The Darla Moore School of Business stands out with its sleek glass façade and dynamic angles, reflecting both sustainability and forward-thinking design.

Nearby, the Koger Center for the Arts presents a strong visual presence with its geometric form and grand entrance, embodying the cultural significance of the space. The Swearingen Engineering Center and other additions to the School of Engineering integrate steel, glass, and concrete to create an environment that feels both industrial and refined.

These modern structures contrast beautifully with the campus’s traditional red-brick buildings, offering an architectural dialogue that highlights the university’s growth while maintaining its identity.

The project consisted of photographing the exteriors of the new, modern building additions.
