My Travel To Austin, Texas To Photograph Amazing Architecture
Any time I heard someone speaking about Austin, Texas, they were always saying what an amazing city it is. Now, truth be told, I am not a big city person. I can only take so much of the frenetic activity and people that go with the fast pace of a big metropolitan area.
However, I decided to do a personal project photography trip to see it for myself. Immediately, I was just like a kid in a candy store. Austin, Texas is an architecural photographer’s paradise. I was there for four days and could have spent months there and only touched the surface.
Before departing my home in South Carolina, I researched some specific locations I wanted to photograph. These included the Driskill Hotel, The Otis Hotel, The Omni Hotel, State of Texas Capitol Mall, University of Texas Austin, The Blanton Museum of Art, and more. I came away with some stunning architectural photography.
